Compassionate mental healthcare.
My approach
I am a licensed clinical psychologist who identifies as a partner, a mother, and a former third culture kid after years growing up outside of the United States.
I have spent over 10 years working in university mental health settings specializing in anxiety, self-compassion, identity development, and gender affirming care. I am trained in the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and interpersonal approaches. However, I pull from an eclectic set of interventions tailored to the relationship with my individual client.
As a staff psychologist I have and continue to provide supervision to professionals in training. I am an active member of WPATH.
I believe in compassionate mental healthcare and that the growth of the individual does not exist in a vacuum. My work as a psychologist is rooted in my relationships with my clients and I place a high value on our connection. My goal for our work together is that you build a life worth living.
